Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the name given to any activity that attempts to improve rankings in search sites like Google, Bing and Yahoo. SEO is highly important and does take some time to build page authority and be indexed for the right search terms.

In search results, search engines display links to pages it considers relevant to the keywords used and authoritative according to the website's popularity. Authority is mostly measured by analysing the number and quality of links from other web pages.
